
Mordechai Alvow is an editorial hairstylist who brilliantly
interprets fashion and trends into uniquely fresh and wearable hairstyles.
He brings runway influence to the sidewalks, spiritual enlightenment
to the salon and wisdom to cut and color. His work has been featured
in Allure, Cosmopolitan, ELLE, InSTYLE, Ladies Home Journal, Marie Claire,
New York Magazine, The New York Times and Vogue. His international runway
experience includes Alexander McQueen, Anna Sui, Victor Belahis and
Yohji Yamamoto, and his corporate assignments have included Pottery
Barn, SKYY Vodka, The May Company and Victoria’s Secret.
YAROK, his new botanically based hair care collection, represents the
convergence of his global perspective, his intuitive styling approach
and his on-going quest for performance-driven products that are healthy
for both clients and stylists. Using modified, traditional recipes of
nutrient-rich base and essential oils, the YAROK Sensory Treatment for
Hair and Scalp is the first truly personalized conditioning treatment
available to salons.
