YAROK donates a portion of its profits to support
dance education programs for kids across the US.
As a child, YAROK founder Mordechai Alvow used dance as an outlet for
self-expression and personal growth. His understanding of body movement
has also inspired his cutting and styling technique. Mordechai strives
to create original hairstyles that complement the posture and movement
of the wearer -- so that the hair moves in synergy with the body --
in the same way it does while dancing. Today, YAROK donates funds to
the Contemporary
Dance Company.
YAROK donated Art supplies to the Miami public art therapy program for 2007-2008 academic year.
YAROK donation for CHAMBER DANCE on May 2007 will support the fall season and educational programs in New York public schools.
