If you’re grey with a stiff scalp, Serum 4 (CHILL AFTER SUN) is recommended; if you’re grey with a dry scalp, Serum 5 (TRIUMPHANT FOR MEN) is recommended; and if you’re grey with thinning hair, Serum 6 (BOOSTER FOR MEN) is recommended.
5. What Serum do you recommend for African American Hair?
Choose a Serum that speaks to the condition of the scalp and hair, not the color. African-American hair has a darker, stronger pigment, which has a tendency to be curly and dry. Furthermore, African-American hair tends to be subjected to a fair amount of processing at the salon. For super results, start with Serum 7 (SPARK YOUR YOUTH) and continue with Serum 4 (CHILL AFTER SUN).
6. Can both natural and processed blondes use the same formula?
Some facts about blondes: Blondness is found in a little less than 1.8% of the world's population. Blondes have an average of 140,000 hairs. Natural blondes have the thinnest strands of hair. Whether natural or processed, a blonde’s yellowish color is caused by a patchy, scarce distribution of pigment. Both types of blonde have very sensitive hair due to genetics or color processing -- and therefore can use the same formula.
