Here is how I style the NEW STAR of the Real Housewives of New York City, AVIVA… Loves YAROK
Aviva is one of the stars of this season’s Real Housewives of New York City, as well as a friend and client of mine. I remember the first time I worked on her hair, using only YAROK products to style. Aviva was so happy to find that they were pure and made of organic ingredients. She told me, “I love everything organic!”
Aviva has beautiful, thick, long blond hair that can be molded in a variety of textures. Together we have found that her best look (I saw her almost twice a week while shooting the season) is loose waves with a natural texture. Here is the process:
Aviva regularly uses YAROK Feed Your Volume shampoo and conditioner. Then I come in … I spray YAROK Feed Your Ends to infuse moister and protect from hot tools. This is important as she does highlight regularly. I continue styling using YAROK Feed Your Roots to maintain the volume for the entire shoot time, and it helps with holding the style.
I blow dry her hair with a large round brush, then proceed to use a large 2″ curling iron in big sections while pining each section to her head with a metal clip. Once her hair is pinned I use YAROK Feed Your Hold—a very light non-aerosol hair spray—holding the bottle far above the hair, allowing the product to distribute a fine mist all over. Then I use a defuser for about 5 minutes and let it cool for another 5 minutes. Once I take the clips out I massage the scalp to create this natural texture, and then a few shakes. With that, Aviva is ready for her next housewife encounter, all the while supporting a fabulous “green” lifestyle.
